Jennifer Haufler

Jennifer Haufler is an active and supportive member of The Canadian Media Producers Association, The Producers Guild of America, The Directors Guild of Canada, Women in Film and Television, and The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television. Having been a part of Toronto’s film business for 20+ years, Jennifer is a veteran in the industry and has worked on major studio and independent productions in film and television, including American Gods, Designated

Survivor, The Expanse, The Witch, Small Crimes, Pixels, Pompeii, and Total Recall. She is currently a Producer on Star Trek-Strange New Worlds on Paramount+

Her feature film The Marijuana Conspiracy, set for a theatrical release in 2021, was recognized at the 2020 Academy Awards for gender equality. She is a strong advocate for the advancement of women in her field, and was designated a ReFrame Ambassador – an initiative led by WIF and Sundance Institute to promote a more gender-representative industry on all

levels.

Jennifer’s passion is deeply rooted in producing, empowerment, and philanthropy. She is a loyal supporter of the arts community and is a climate leader having gone through the Climate Reality Program instructed by Al Gore, and is a part of his inner “green” circle.

DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

Rachel Woroner

Rachel Woroner is an independent film Producer based in Toronto. She has her BFA in Photography from Concordia University where she received The Reginald Morris CSC Iatse 667 Scholarship. She has worked as an Assistant Production Manager for the CBS All Access series Strange New Worlds, as well as in both production and art department on several major studio productions including Star Trek Discovery (CBS), Sex/Life (Netflix), Self Made (Netflix), The Hot Zone (FOX21), Impulse (NBC), Kim’s Convenience (CBC) and Beauty and the Beast (CBS). Rachel has produced a number of independent short and long format projects including The Leaving Party directed by novelist Marlowe Tatiana Granados, and Puppet by the Levett Brothers. She is thrilled to be a part of the Lacuna team seeking bold and innovative content.

Krystie Anne Haufler

Krystie-Anne Haufler is a Toronto-based Co-Producer at Lacuna Productions, bringing a fresh creative perspective and hands-on production experience to the company’s growing film and television slate.

Her experience spans multiple areas of production, giving her a practical understanding of the filmmaking process from development through production. With a strong interest in storytelling and discovering distinctive creative voices, Krystie-Anne is focused on developing original projects and helping bring compelling Canadian stories to wider audiences.

She is passionate about the next generation of film and television and the evolving ways stories are developed, produced and experienced.

Krystie-Anne is also committed to environmentally responsible filmmaking. Her involvement in climate leadership initiatives has helped shape an approach to production that considers sustainability as an integral part of the filmmaking process.

As Co-Producer at Lacuna Productions, Krystie-Anne is helping shape the company’s expanding slate and its next chapter of film and television production.
